Intrachem is proudly the first company in Nigeria to manufacture explosives. This involved the transfer of technology, investment in equipment and personnel training coupled with labour generating opportunities in our host community. Our major magazine is located in Abeokuta, Ogun state from where our products are supplied to our clients located in all parts of Nigeria. Additional facilities are located in Abuja and Calabar.
Our Magazines are licensed and supervised by the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development. We adhere strictly to safety regulations as well as making sure that all consignment are escorted by officers of the Explosives ordinance Department of the Nigerian Police Force.
Our main objective is to provide the most technologically advanced blasting solutions to our clients. Intrachem is Nigeria’s premier supplier of commercial explosives products with ministry statistics reflecting a 75% market share. Major clients include: Julius Berger; Obajana Cement PLC (a Dangote company), WAPCO PLC, P.W. Limited, Ashaka Cement PLC, Setraco, Ratcon Construction Ltd, CCECC, United Geophysics (Nigeria) Ltd, Arab contractors, Integrated Data Services Ltd and many more.
